Mx3.ch wurde im Herbst 2006 von der SRG SSR als Versuchsprojekt gestartet und hat sich inzwischen zu einer wichtigen Plattform für die Schweizer Musik im Bereich Unterhaltungsmusik entwickelt. Schweizer Bands können sich darauf registrieren und ihre Musik dem Publikum, Programmveranstaltern und Konzert- sowie Event-Veranstaltern zugänglich machen.
